The Marine Sciences Graduate Student Organization

Program Overview
The mission of the GSS is to provide graduate students in aquatic, marine, and biological sciences the opportunity to exchange information and ideas and present their graduate research in a supportive setting with their peers. Both formal and informal presentation styles are welcome. Typically presentations range from concepts to methods to finished theses and dissertations. This conference allows graduate students the opportunity to practice presentations prior to professional meetings and degree defenses, and to network with graduate students and faculty throughout the region.
The venue for this year's symposium is the campus of the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, a marine science consortium which houses research from participating universities in Alabama. Dauphin Island is a barrier island approximately 45 minutes south of Mobile, Alabama.
